Hello everyone! On these sunny days, the last thing I want to do is talk about vampires and discuss gloomy lipsticks, but I may show you one brilliant in every sense of the word from my collection. I went through all the stages of love-lust-dislike-acceptance-love with it. And all because I do not like lipsticks with blue sparkles. That’s what I thought until I accidentally tried on Fenty Beauty Slip Shine Sheer Shiny Lipstick in the Vamps Who Brunch shade with blue glasses, and now it’s one of my favorite duos.
Brand: Fenty Beauty.
Series: Slip Shine Sheer Shiny Lipstick.
Shade: Vamps Who Brunch.
Packaging: white pearlescent stick, beveled at the top and bottom, with a polyhedron in the cross-section of the case. The packaging has the brand name on it, and that’s it. Inside is a silver lipstick holder where the lipstick is poured flush. You can only damage the stick if you twist it more than is reasonable; by the way, the twist-and-twist mechanism works perfectly. Laconic and futuristic, it does not feel cheap in hand; the packaging is recognizable from afar. Closes without a magnet, just clicks, unbreakable in the bag, will win even the battle with the keys))
Smell: I do not smell, just a little silicones
Stick shape: regular, round, in a silver-colored protective holder.
The cut: beveled, flat.
Ease of application with the cut: I prefer a different shape; this one is uncomfortable.
The consistency: oily, very cool glides on the lips, saturates them with moisture; it’s nice just to stroke them with the stick (especially since the color is not so much layered). I bought the composition, a full-fledged revitalizing balm with castor oil. Lips after it are nourished and soft, I think I will finish this lipstick quickly.
The shade: I used to have cool hair shade, and pink and purple lipsticks suited me best; then there was Pillow Talk, which I recolored in a warmer shade… And now, I ordered this lipstick with blue shimmer again for old memory! Cosmetic amnesia – is it possible?))) The shade is beautiful – thick plum, dark purple without a single glimmer of pink; I see in it burgundy, blue, a fleur of brown and gray. Inside is a scattering of blue-blue glitter, which is visible at certain angles, and very difficult to photograph; on the face, they are very even noticeable. All this dark splendor is almost black in the stick, but quite transparent on the swatch on the hand, and the density of the application is almost independent of the number of layers. For me it is cold, without any support it looks a little alien on my face, so the support is provided by glasses or clothes. Like all cool shades, it whitens my teeth)
Mucosal behavior isn’t bad for this texture and color.
Likewise, conduct on the mucosa is not bad for this texture and color.
Density/transparency: translucent because the dark color on the lips is very noticeable, the very much beloved “ink in water” effect.
Shimmer/glitter/pearl: Oh yes, the turquoise blue/blue sparkles in all their glory, there are plenty of them in the stick, but on the lips, they will be about thirty pieces at most… In general, there are lipsticks with a lot more sparkles per gram. Regardless, the overall color is beautiful and self-sufficient; it doesn’t need more glitter.
Matte/Satin/Gloss: a noticeable watery gloss, beautiful and festive on the lips, shines just as the name of the series promises.
On which lips it is possible to apply other than perfect: dry, embossed, with medium flaking, frequently drying, with crusts, etc., it will nourish and smooth everything. Under no circumstances should it be applied over hygiene products; with me, it starts to slip on the surface and doesn’t cling to my lips.
Does the lipstick need a base: no, it’s a balsamic type of lipstick.
What skin condition does it require: Anything with a purple or reddish undertone is best concealed. It emphasizes acne, bruises, and post-acne slightly accentuates the relief of the skin. However, this is the specificity of my particular shade, and more neutral colors will not require careful skin preparation.
Feels from the application: as if you use a greasy balm. Very pleasant to wear, comfortable, does not smudge, does not roll off, does not run anywhere, in a strip at the junction of the lips is not going. It feels the lightest layer of moisturizing gel and soothes bitten lips (sometimes I do, alas); I see it more as a lip care product and only then do I remember the excellent blueberry color.
Behavior while in use: a little clogging in relief, but this is the lipstick. I like this effect.

It probably reminds you of either 19 shadow purple or 16 noir révélateur (if I remember names correctly). However, this one has the advantage over them – no fragrance.
And the store has promised to roll back to the previous state. They were renamed for a couple of years; now they are going to do it again. The brands may remain the same.
They should stay.)

When I looked at the lipstick in the stick, I thought: well, something too dark. But on the lips, it opens up so beautifully: due to the glitter, it’s not flat, and due to the transparency, it’s not too bright)))

I love this line. I currently own Cookies & cocoa, and it’s already pretty worn off (which is rare for me – I have a lot of lipsticks, so it all uses up slowly); I also managed to get goji gang in stock shortly before closing… Your shade is excellent too!
I’m going to miss Fenty – I loved their lip products, those balm ones, and liquid matte lipsticks and glosses; somehow, I’ve all had good luck.
I used to have a gloss from Oriflame as a student, which was very similar in tone and glitter.
